Fordham concluded its season Saturday afternoon with an 80-60 defeat to No. 23/25 Temple on Senior Day at the Rose Hill Gym. The Rams fell behind 9-0 to start the game and were never able to make up the deficit. Fordham finishes the year at 10-19 overall, 3-13 in the Atlantic 10.

Fordham Conquers La Salle with Big Second Half
For the first time in four years, Fordham played a late-season game with playoff implications, albeit slim, trailing George Washington by two games with three to play. Junior forward Chris Gaston made sure he kept Fordham alive, scoring a career-high 35 and pulling down 16 rebounds to lead the Rams to a 67-62 win over La Salle on Saturday.

Rams Dominated by Bonnies, Lose Sixth Straight A-10 Game
Looking to avenge a 44 point defeat to St. Bonaventure earlier in the season, it was instead more of the same for Fordham against the Bonnies. The Rams fell 89-63, the team's most lopsided home loss of the season, in a game marred by a 52 minute delay to replace a broken rim in the first half.

Fordham Standing Two Games Out of Last Spot For Atlantic 10 Tournament
Going into two important road games against Duquesne and Saint Louis, Head Coach Tom Pecora expected a lot out of his senior leaders. However, Fordham lost two more conference road games and remains in 13th place in the Atlantic 10. "I always believe that at the end of those games you look at the line scores of our veterans," Pecora said.

It was not a good weekend for Fordham's chances of making it to the Atlantic 10 tournament. The Rams' loss to Dayton, coupled with George Washington's last-second win over Richmond, leaves Fordham a game and a half out of the 12th and final spot for the Atlantic 10 tournament with only six games left in the regular season.

I did everything I could not to write about Jeremy Lin. I hate when media outlets take control of a story and turn it into a 24/7 documentary of a player, like Tebowmania. But the fact is, there is no shying away from how incredible this run by Lin has been.

Dayton Drops Fordham in Overtime, 72-70
Rams prepare for crucial roadtrip: will take on Saint Louis and Duquesne this week.
Going up against one of the perennial Atlantic 10 powers, Fordham had its opportunity to knock off the distinguished Dayton Flyers, but in the final few minutes of regulation and overtime, experience won out. Dayton broke its four-game losing streak and did damage to Fordham's A-10 Tournament dreams with its 72-70 win.

Senior Profile: Alberto Estwick
Alberto Estwick, a business major, is one of just three seniors on a young Rams squad led by a number of underclassmen. While he may not be seeing the minutes of some of his other teammates, he has continued to be a vital member of the Fordham basketball team.
