MAJORING IN VISUAL ARTS AND HISTORY

Where have we seen you?
If you're the churchgoing type, you've seen me on Sunday nights, singing those alto harmonies and trying not to dance in the front row of the Folk Choir. If you frequent the gym, you might have spotted me in a fetching fencing jacket, working on my circular disengage. If you spend a lot of time in Keating, you may have seen me in the art studio or the graphic design computer lab, where I pretty much lived for the bulk of my junior year. Other than that, the rest of my time is spent doing Honors Program-related things. Yes, I have my own key to that mysterious little building between McGinley and Hughes.

What can you tell us about your Senior Gallery Show at Lincoln Center?
I'm taking the Senior Capstone in Studio Art, which means that I will be showing with photographer Stephen Martinez, FCRH '08, from April 28 to May 8 in the Center Gallery at Lincoln Center. There will be an opening reception with wine and cheese on Friday, May 2, from 7:00 p.m.-9:00 p.m. My show is titled Faces and features portraits in graphite. Also, it's pretty sweet. Get excited.

What was your favorite childhood TV show and why?
I feel like I've enjoyed talking about my favorite childhood TV shows at college more than I ever actually enjoyed watching them as a child. I mean, I was a total "Ghostwriter" junkie, but I was also pretty much scared out of my mind whenever I was watching it. After that one time when Gabby fainted in the community garden because of the buried toxic waste, I was completely convinced that I was going to get sick from chemicals hidden in my backyard. Or the park. Or the school yard. But reminiscing about "Muppet Babies" or "David the Gnome" will always make my day.

Who would play you in a movie about your life and why?
Hopefully someone with really great clothes. I'm thinking Reese Witherspoon in Walk the Line.

If you could be any famous historical figure, who would you be and why?
