Where have we seen you?
You may not have seen me, per-say, but you may have seen my handiwork if you have attended FET productions in the Blackbox. I tend to do the lighting for them but have also been known to assistant direct on occasion. I have done the lighting for 12 Angry Men, Jesus Christ Superstar, Rocky Horror, and most recently, Pippin. Other than that I'm usually spotted on campus by my dark green scally cap.

Tell us a little bit about winning the Leahey student award.
Recently I was awarded the Leahey Renaissance Student Award. The award is an $8,000 stipend to study abroad this summer. What I am currently planning is to study Medieval Latin and palaeography in hopes of designing a curriculum for an undergraduate course using the special collections wing in Walsh Library. I am going to register for two different programs in jolly olde England at the moment, but I'm still planning out sites I want to visit all over Europe. I am using the money to pay my way for tuitions for the programs as well as my air and rail fare. Any other costs like enjoying the cultural importance of pubs in England will be personal expenses.

What was your favorite childhood TV show and why?
Favorite childhood TV show, that's rather hard for me to place, I tend to remember movies that I loved throughout childhood more than T.V. Those would be the Indiana Jones trilogy. I suppose this may have pushed me to a love of history, although my intended career path, a college professor, won't involve bull whips, revolvers, fedoras and a John Williams soundtrack. I suppose being a maverick action oriented professor isn't completely out of the question. Running out of the classroom yelling for Jacque to start the engines while being chased by an angry group of natives, or dodging huge boulders, or thwarting Nazi's as they try to steal relics would make for an interesting classroom experience…
